The Snellville Beach patrol contacted me and asked me to remind everyone that there is no topless or nude bathing allowed at the Snellville Beach.
If you recall, in 2007, when Mrs. O.T. Overration, age 98 removed her halter top, a terrible riot ensued on Snellville Beach that resulted in damage to the sandbar. The shrill screaming by other Snellville Beach visitors also caused endangered waterfowl to leave their nesting areas at Snellville Beach. The Environmental Protection people had to step in and we had to promise that nude sunbathing would not longer be allowed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please continue to enjoy Snellville Beach safely.
